Okaloosa County Health Improvement Partnership (OCHIP) is hosting a Substance Use Training on Tuesday, January 28th from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. It is free and open to all community partners. You must register to attend to ensure we have enough seats. See the agenda attached above for more details. Feel free to share the registration information with others in your agency.

Why Attend? Hear from Dr. Kenneth Scheppke, Deputy Secretary of Health at the Florida Department of Health, to learn about how opioids interact with the brain, what the Coordinated Opioid Response Network (CORE) is, and how addiction impacts communities. Hear updates on the Post Overdose Support Team and program successes. Learn more about interagency collaboration and the importance of peers from Amber Williams with the Florida Department of Children and Families.
