Apply for Funding
Funding from the ECHCC helps equip healthcare providers and emergency responders with the tools they need to deliver effective, lifesaving services in their communities. Each year, the coalition funds critical projects for its partners, ensuring that healthcare organizations, especially those with limited resources, have access to specialized equipment and resources that may otherwise be out of reach.

Stop the Bleed Kits
Through coalition funding, organizations can secure items like Stop the Bleed Kits, which enable rapid, onsite hemorrhage control — a crucial capability in both everyday emergencies and mass casualty incidents. This support enhances the immediate readiness of healthcare providers, ensuring that communities are better prepared to handle diverse health challenges.
DECON Equipment
Additionally, coalition funding has facilitated the provision of DECON (decontamination) equipment, essential for protecting healthcare workers and patients in the event of chemical or hazardous material exposure.
PLUM Cases
Other investments, like PLUM Cases, which offer portable emergency response capabilities, and advanced communication equipment, ensure that healthcare providers can coordinate efficiently and respond swiftly in crisis situations. This is particularly vital for rural and underserved areas, where resources are often stretched, and immediate access to such equipment can significantly improve outcomes.
PediMates and NeoMates
Coalition funding also addresses the specific needs of vulnerable populations, such as children, by providing PediMates and NeoMates for rural EMS units. These pediatric transport devices ensure that young patients receive safe, effective care and transport, even in rural areas with fewer resources.

Closing Gaps in Emergency Care with Targeted Support
By supporting such targeted equipment, the coalition helps close gaps in emergency care, ensuring that every community has access to the specialized tools necessary for effective healthcare response. This yearly funding, provided at no cost to coalition members, demonstrates the coalition’s commitment to bolstering healthcare readiness across the entire region, fostering a resilient, well-prepared network capable of protecting the health and safety of all its residents.
