Description | Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) is a capabilities and performance-based exercise program that provides a standardized methodology and terminology for exercise design, development, conduct, evaluation, and improvement planning. Class activities include creating exercise documentation, conducting exercise planning conferences and briefings, and practicing exercise evaluation. Individuals involved in exercise design, development, conduct, control, evaluation, and improvement planning are encouraged to attend. HSEEP is an interactive, 16-hour long course that allows participants to share personal lessons learned while gaining practical experience. Certificates are now being issued by the FEMA Emergency Management Institute. Individuals that have previously taken HSEEP more than three years ago are also recommended to attend. |
